Week 13
Did some Mechanics and mathematics. Time to get serious.
Had common tests last week, felt that my math haven't really been up to standard yet and yes when i got back the results today, it was a solid F. Yea well, no more time to play, sem exams are nearing and ive got no time to have fun anymore.
Still waiting for mechanics, material tech and manufacturing tech.
Ive got confidence in my mechanics as ive put in quite alot of effort, but for the other two, i just pray that i will have a good result, maybe just borderline.
And i still went for movie after the last paper. Watched The Haunting in Connecticut, wasn't so bad as Drag me to Hell. Kinda like a sad show, a sad ghost movie.
Anyway, had a gig last saturday, well it was kinda like 2 months after i had one so kinda rusty with the crowd. Well, i didn t turn out pretty well but at least it was still great, we still got exposure.
There were many great bands that day, and i was really lucky, got to know some people, like thomas and his dudes, who organised the gig.
Since monday, have been studying for at least 3hrs and doing assignments, quite an accomplishment as ive managed to finish quite alot of work. If this is done regularly, i can ace my common test 2.
Finished touching up on my material technology assignment, its kinda well done.
Today sang didnt come to school so it's kinda quiet, learned more about grinding today, and autocadd really is a tough one today as i really couldnt see the dimensions and do the designing and drawing properly.
While the others went to Shannon's house to play street fighter, went out with friends after having my lunch with khartik.
Khartik is a must to make friends with, he is just so damn funny, able to relieve stress with his lame jokes.
Met up with Sam, Dan and Christine. Its so rare that we meet up and so we manage to talk about schools and stuffs.
Sam is leaving for japan again soon. I can see the effort she puts in in coming back to singapore to visit her friends.
Week 12
Alright, so today's maths common test confirm flunk. Tomorrow gonna push hard for mechanics, really hoping to see some good results if not this bad experience, which i will once again go through, push me to study hard for my semestral exams.
So now, this late in the night, going through all the formulaes and how-to-do examples and try to work something out through my tutorials.
Looks like gonna sleep very late again, anyway im also able to sleep after the exams. Argh, anyway yesterday went jamming, with another band and i feel that after this coming gigs, i should stop playing for awhile to concentrate on my studies. "To uni or not? make up your freaking mind! If so, Study!"
regretting is of no use, concentrate on what ive got to do today and leave the future in God's hand.
guide me through my turmoils, admist all this trash and junks that are trying to distract me. Time ot know what i really need to do.
Coming up are material tech and manufacturing tech papers after my mechanics. Damn i havent studied those yet.
andand, ive been watching these comedy series, its called Big Bang Theory. So so very funny. Well their jokes are kinda like nerdy and scientific o.o so some i really dont understand but the way he expresses it makes me laugh.
Well, i guess thats all. think i'll study till morning 6am or half way through.
Week 11
Alright, so nyp got case of H1N1 so.. holidays is extended!
Good because didnt revise much for my common testalthough i studied material technology which is kinda hard to understand.
Revising of maths and mechanics is still ongoing and ive got to find some time to study manufacturing tech.
Well this extended holidays is not something like holidays but just a home based study, well i call it holiday.
There's loads to do as week 12 which is the week after this week, lessons are moved forward as this week was supposed to be my common test week.
well ive got a feeling that this week is gonna be a productive week.
tomorrow, material technology attendence on heucampus from 4-6pm.
to study topic 3.1-3.3, after that login cms and do the questions.
Manufacturing tech, access cms and go through study material on plastic moulding.
do equiz through cms after that.
Maths, practice on deteriments and do ex 18-20&27-29
do equiz and submit by friday.
Eng mechanics, go through study material stress and strain
Do and submit question 4 from tutorial 6 by week 13.
Personal development, access cms and do e-learning task- public speaking &personal grooming.
Anyway, went out with nus yuda and ting yesterday, was supposed to be some kinda of movie gathering where we were going to watch transformer.
well so only 4 of us turn up, sad right.
and the worst thing is we didnt even book a ticket for transformers and we wandered about for about 2-3hrs until we found a place where there's still seats, at balestier shopping centre if im not wrong.
Week 10
OKay, so i went for guitar club camp during the holidays.

Games time, played many including this which i forgot what its called.
And i dont have any pictures for the games part at night.
Well, its the time where everyone would be dirtied even if they dont want to.
First we were sprayed with water, i love it!
Second, we did some quiz i think
third, we got flour on our face and clothes
fouth, we were mashed with colgate at our various body parts.
fifth, we played twister, it shoudl be more challenging!
sixth, we were blind folded, i mean some and led to some places.(the blind fold on me was not good enough to blind me.)
Ah thats all.
Didnt sleep till 4am in the morning.

Early after breakfast, we played our last game, it was the perfect game as we really kinda bonded although i was used as the model to dress up and later perform, gosh.
Thinking how they would dress me and rebecca.
im kinda stress as you can see im squating.
When im serious or stress, i will squat even on chairs or any other objects
preparing to perform at their so called stage.

Alright, dont have the photos for the aftermath and the bonus part so i'll just have to type.
we did some bonus parts like dancing and picking up stuffs without destroying our costumes.
after that we played twister with our costumes on and i won! hehe.
After all that, they annouce the winning group, yea and my group is the last as our members keep leaving for their home as they got something on.

Week 9
Had 2 tests, maths and mechanics. Didnt do well for math, crap, for mechanics, i still dont know how i fare yet anyway i have faith that i can at least get a 18/25.
On thursday went for guitar club, our final class as advance class before moving on to Junior ensemble, can't wait and our "instructor" , Kai, was funny as always as he tries to make the class as lively and fun as possible.
Oh and Samantha is finally back, went to see her few days ago and she changed alot! XD
Met up with the rest too, miss those days when we were always together. Get together again soon, miss ya'll lots.
This week im gonna study at least 4hrs a day, completing at least 1 chapter a day for maths and material technology.
Next week i'll do revision for maths while revising manufacturing and material technology. gosh so much to study so little time.
Week 8
Nothing much last week as normal, except that this week's Guitar Club was kinda fun.
We learn more about majors and minors and some other stuffs and Kai, finally i know the name of the guy who is teaching us, gave us pointers and the importance of C major.
Anyway, on to the fun part of GC, we finally played together as a small group, like one group the rhythm, the other the bass and the rest plays chords.
Although it didnt sound so right as it's our first time playing together but it was an experience.
After that, we were told to compose a short 12 second song in groups of 2.
Well, it was kinda easy as yea of course i played the bass while Aylwin played the chords.
We planned for the next day to stay back and compose one together, and we did, in 15minutes.
So, thats about it for last week.
we also done some heat treatment and rockwell test for the lab work, kinda fun as everyone take turns to put the metal rod into the furnance.
We completed our parachute and it was kinda good, as it can stay in the air for quite sometime.
The coming week, having math pre-common test, which i think im gonna fail.
OH talking about test, i got CNC programming full marks! Heard our Autocad test wasnt so good so yea, i pray for brains tomorrow and many much wisdom so i may do the test and hopefully get a pass.
Week 7
Its xiu mei's birthday on 24th may, we celebrate it the day before it as more people were able to turn out on a saturday.
As expected many turnout and so it was kinda lke a class gathering, therefore, it turn out pretty well.
Had fun at the beach, after that, went to one degree 15 to relax through the night while a 2 men band plays ballad for us, for xiu mei i mean.
After that, had supper at the prate house beside yio chu kang road before parting.
Anyway, this week was a very productive week as i did my first question in mechanics without much help myself! And i studied at least 1-1.5hrs each day this week! what has gotten into me, i wonder.
Week 6
Well, nothing much during guitar club, just learning new songs and practicising the PIMA thing.
I can see that Aylwin was damn tired after GC as he looks so dead during the class.
Some of my friends came to NYP to visit Han Ying on that day too, although im not sure who came exactly.
Well, i didnt know whats the real reason she and some others came to nyp for, i dont care either, girl stuffs.
Met up with only juliana after GC and went home together after sending Aylwin off to his mrt.
Didnt get to study much as i was too tired to do anything else, but well, paid lots of attention in class, but i doubt it will help if i dont revise.
On friday, yes i still hate doing the lab exercise, not so like hate, but just not really like it.
and yes it ends at 12.30 today, its the best day of the week, always.
Studies always comes the next day after friday.
Week 5
Anyway, today, a sunday, went to church for service. After that met Sharon. She was giving out flyers for, erm i dont know how to translate from chinese to english, and yea she havent changed much except for her dressing.
Yea, and was supposed to go to my grandman house for dinner with my relatives but had some other plans.
Instead, i went to bell's house for a gathering cum birthday party steamboat. Luckily for me, her house is near my house.
So went to meet up with shi ting and linus to study, of course ended up not studying but eating and chatting.
So around 5, we met up with the rest under bell's block.
We planned to give her a surprise by lighting the birthday cake while singing the birthday song outside her house.
Skipping everything else, moving on to dinner. I couldnt believe that i ate so little but drank alot.
Well not much changes around us, oh and chen long went home early as he got something on after the steamboat. So after eating the cake, played cards for awhile before going down to take some pictures and later bidding farewell to everyone to prepare for school the next day.
Coming weeks, gonna have tests.
Studying is the most important now, resist temptation! Meeting up with old friends definitely brings back memories. through the path of learning, new friends are made. Moving on.
